Assistant professor of psychology David Kerr co-authored a paper with researchers from the University of Oregon and the Oregon Social Learning Center titled “Suicidal behavior outcomes of childhood sexual abuse: Longitudinal study of adjudicated girls.” The paper will soon appear in the Journal Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior.
Assistant professor of English Raymond Malewitz recently deliveried a lecture entitled “Theater Repurposed: Sam Shepard and the History of off-off-Broadway” at the Profile Theater in Portland for their Sam Shepard “Festival of One Acts” this Saturday.
Vocaldente, an award-winning a cappella group from Germany, will be performing at the Whiteside Theatre on today. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and the performance is at 6. Admission is free. Families are welcome.
Emeritus Music Professor Michael T. Coolen will be present his new one-man show, “The Penile Colonies: Living with XY Disorder,” on Friday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Withycomb Lab Theatre. Coolen describes the show as “troping through the Vagina Monologues.” Admission is free.
