Assistant professor of ethnic studies Natchee Barnd recently had a 10 minute radio interview with a show called “The Panel” on Radio New Zealand, the country’s biggest radio channel. Barnd talked about a recent fashion designer’s use of “Indian headdresses.”  Barnd’s segment begins at the 9.20 mark.

Current Research, Publications and Creative Activity

Nana Osei-Kofi, associate professor of women, gender, & sexuality studies delivered a keynote address, “Student Diversity and the Future of American Higher Education” at the Lewis and Clark College Undergraduate Faculty Annual Retreat in Portland on August 25, 2014.

February 1 – 4, 2015: Dr. Clifford Madsen, the Robert O. Lawton Distinguished Professor of Music; coordinator of music education, music therapy and contemporary media; and renowned teacher in the areas of music education, music therapy, research, and psychology of music at Florida State University, will be in residence, for several days, here at Oregon State.
